We are currently seeking exceptional candidates for a position designed to serve as a gateway to either a long-term technical career within our organization or as an ideal foundation for doctoral studies.
Location: Remote-first, with potential for relocation to Singapore.
Start Date: Flexible. The position will remain open until filled.
Role Overview
This position is structured as a high-impact internship offering early-career scientists and engineers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to both product development and foundational research.
The internship is conceived as a preparatory stage for one of two possible professional trajectories:
- Long-Term Technical Role Candidates who demonstrate strong alignment with our mission and capabilities will be considered for a three-year research & development contract. This role involves increasing responsibility in both software architecture and applied research, and is designed to cultivate future technical leadership.
- Preparation for PhD
Alternatively, this internship can serve as an intellectual bridge to a doctoral program. The position is intentionally structured to provide the kind of research depth, methodological rigor, and portfolio substance that strengthen future PhD applications.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for individuals with the following qualifications:
- A Master degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, with strong background in quantum computing.
- Proven proficiency in software engineering, algorithmic thinking, and formal reasoning;
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and with intellectual rigor;
- An interest in pursuing challenges that sit at the boundary between research and application;
- A disposition toward integrity, adaptability, and long-term thinking.
